As Thunderbird Softball had its first regular-season game on the 24th, we have high hopes for this talented team. Furthermore, as last season the team struggled with a 6-10 record, Ella Wolff said, “With the new and young talent coming in we are looking forward to the season.” As last year didn’t go as planned, Coach Sharp said there is a lot of room for improvement for these ladies.
As junior star player Kinzie Mitchell stated, “We will be coming out strong and focused and play hard in our first game.” As Kinzie had 36 hits and 24 RBIs, she says she will be trying to improve those numbers this season.

As Senior player and team captain Kacy Davis said, “We have a 21 regular-season schedule and we are hoping to have a winning record this season.” Our Thunderbird Titans came out strong against Bradshaw mountain but couldn’t close the game. Junior Kinzie Mitchell got one hit and led the game in RBIs, and Senior captain Kacy Davis pitched all 7 innings. The team put up an amazing battle but it just wasn’t enough to close the game out and win. In conclusion, Titan softball has its next game at Marcos De Niza on March 2nd, 2022.
