Football Finishes Strong

As the Thunderbird regular season for varsity football is slowly coming to an end, this past week our Titans played their last game at home against the Glendale Cardinals. Their final season record is now 5-6 after demolishing Shadow Mountain 54-21.

Last week, varsity Titans drove to Moon Valley for their final away game of the season. Though we put up quite the fight, we couldn’t secure the win. The final score of this nail-bitting game was 40-50 with Moon Valley beating us for the first time in 8 years.

On the other hand, freshman football ended their season with a win against Moon Valley. The freshman football team drove to Moon Valley and got the job done as the final score was 63-29, with freshman kicker Calvin Scheuermann having a perfect game going 8/8 for Pats. As the freshman season came to an end, their final record was 8-1.

In conclusion, football season is slowly coming to an end. Coach Nolette has asked everything from this team, and our Titans have given it their all. From morning lifts to film sessions, this team has dedicated a lot of their high school life to this sport and we are all proud of our Thunderbird Football program.
