Midterm Election Results

Many people were running for the midterm election that happened in the beginning of November, and there are a good number of people who had their own views on those who ran.

As with every election, there were a fair amount of people who ran for office. Some examples being Mark Kelly for the Democratic party, and Blake Masters for the Republican party, and many more ran for senate such as Marc Victor, and William Taylor. Reporters from CNN announced that, “the battle for control of Congress is still up in the air, with the Senate coming down to three key races while Democrats and Republicans are still hanging onto hopes of winning a narrow majority in the House.” Each person sees things in their own way and it is hard to say if there is a right or wrong way to see these things.

Election day was Nov. 8, 2022. The candidates had made their purposes known, and had taken the heat from the opposing sides. As of Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022 votes were still being counted. Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia were still waiting on results. AZCentral states that people were waiting quite impatiently for the results to come in.

Checking in on Nov. 14, 2022. Democrat Mark Kelly has taken the win for Arizona with an ending vote count of 1,243,400. Catherine Cortez Masto for the Democratic party won in Nevada with a vote count of 493,443, Republican Mike Lee won in Utah with 561,127 votes, and Georgia’s runoff election is being scheduled.
