As our Titan football season came to an end, the season was nothing short of historical. As they went 8-2 overall and 4-0 in region games, winning our region and becoming region champs for the first time in over 10 years. They entered the playoffs as the 14th seed going against the 3rd, all odds were against them, but they upset 3rd seed Marcos De Niza in a 17-14 win for the Titans as MaxPreps stated. The Titans advanced to the second round of the playoffs but sadly fell short in a 28-3 loss against Canyon Del Oro. Coach Nollet had to say this about the football season. “We beat all odds. I always knew our team would do this. We kept climbing and no matter the outcome I am beyond proud of this group of young men.” This was one of the best football seasons for the Titans in a long time and showed everyone in 4A that anything is possible with dedication and hard work.
