Rumors are never fun because they are very often far from even half the truth. 

It is hard to imagine what Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez are being forced to handle right now. The media and fans have blown up this situation so much that it has gotten way out of hand. 

On Feb. 22, 2023, a TikTok user posted a video about a theory that Kylie Jenner and Beiber made fun of Selena Gomez’s newly laminated eyebrows. Jenner commented saying “This is reaching-No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.” Gomez then replied to Jenner’s comment stating “It’s all unnecessary-I’m a fan of Kylie!” 

Rumors continued and so Gomez posted a video explaining that she was going to take a break from social media because the situation at hand is “a little silly.” On Mar. 24, 2023, Gomez posted on Instagram saying “Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity.” She brought this up because she says that it needs to stop and that it is not what she stands for.

Based on recent events and the celebrities’ comments, it seems that the media is “making something out of nothing.” They overread everything that the two women post in a desperate attempt for drama.
