Dear Mrs. Bauer-Spano,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for your help throughout this year. Thank you for helping make me to form the best version of myself. 

I will admit that when I started your Theater class this year I was not looking forward to it because I was very nervous of what the class might entail. I am so glad I stayed though because being in your class has been one of the biggest highlights of my high school career. I have always been a shy and quiet person, but through your gentle encouragement I have seen myself come out of my shell and do things I never thought I would.I’m just sad that I didn’t discover the joy and excitement of your class before my senior year. I would have loved to have at least another year in your class. 

All of this is to say, thank you for being such an amazing teacher and I’m grateful for the time I had.
