Senior Night showcased varsity volleyballs three seniors on Tuesday, October 24. This year’s seniors are Malia Parris, Allison Miller, and Ella Wolf.
Many fun things happened Tuesday night. According to Malia Parris, her favorite part of senior night was, “Getting to listen to my teammates share their memories of us seniors and give us the most precious goodbyes.” Each senior had two teammates say a small speech for them. For Malia, Hayven Lick and Cecelia Bouchard talked for her. Ella Wolf started playing volleyball freshman year. Her first year she was on the freshman team, then the next year she made it onto varsity. She worked very hard to move up teams the next year. Malia Parris said, “I started playing volleyball in middle school because my two best friends needed a setter. It started as a fun after school activity to do while hanging out with my friends and turned into a passion of mine. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to play the sport I grew to love.”
Volleyball is more than a sport to some people, it is something they can do to escape all of their thoughts and have fun. These seniors have worked hard to get where they are today.
