Thunderbird High School is hosting their first ever winter formal dance! The winter formal theme is “Sweethearts,” make  sure to dress up in semi-formal attire. 

The tickets can be purchased at Go Fan, and during lunch, for $15. Posters containing the QR code, for an easy purchase. 

The winter formal dance will begin on Saturday, February 10th. The dance will be set in motion at 7:00pm, and will end at 10:30pm. 

Students planning on going to the dance will need to bring their student ID, or use Studentvue on their phone, to be allowed into the gym, where the dance is located. 

If you would like to go with someone who isn’t a student at Thunderbird, make sure to fill out an “Out of School” form from the office. Food and beverages will be sold at the Thundershack, cash only! Apple pay is not approved. 

Like the Homecoming dance, a DJ will be attending the winter formal, to play the students music to dance along with. 

There will be a photobooth, free of charge, for students to take memorable photos. 

Unlike Homecoming, there will not be a spirit week leading up to the dance.

On Thursday, January 18, 2024, Barro’s Pizza help held a fundraiser to raise money for the winter dance.
