The Nile Underground hosted a death metal local show, called Eternal.
The show was hosted on March 22, 2024, with tickets being $17. The lineup consisted of THRA, Re-buried, Unembalmed, and Writhren. After each set, people went and bought or looked at the merch the bands were selling. The attention-grabbing merch was Eternal’s new cd:Cryptic Lust, and Re-buried’s cd:Repulsive Nature. They were also selling shirts and long sleeves that had very intricate designs, stickers, and vinyls.
The best things about the local show were the people and the mosh pit. Almost everyone was complementing each others makeup and clothes. The mosh pit was very entertaining. Everyone was throwing each other around, having death metal music blasted into their ears
Overall, each band had their own unique additive to their music. Like Re-buried has an incredible death growl. Each of these local bands definitely deserves more recognition.
