Since Arizona is so hot in the summer, many people love to travel. There are many great places to go during summer break.

If you want to stay in Arizona, Sedona is a great place to visit. “Sedona is a fun place to go because it is nice outside and there are lakes and natural water slides.” said Freshman Vanessa Paris. Another place in Arizona is Flagstaff. The weather is very nice and it is not very expensive. You could even do a stay-cation at a resort with a water park, or get a season pass to Hurricane Harbor.

Since Phoenix is so hot, it is nice to go somewhere with cooler weather. If you feel like getting out of the state instead of just the city, California might be the place for you. “Every summer my family goes to Mission Beach for a week and it is always really fun.” said Freshman Allison Baird. Another alternative is beach Rocky Point that is cheaper to travel to and stay at.

Since there is no beach in Arizona, going to California is very nice. There are many more places to travel for summer break, but these are just a few ideas.
