The recent NFL season startup has left many fans surprised and frustrated with how some twists and turns have affected their favorite teams. A prime example of this is with the San Francisco 49ers.
The 49ers last season had an excellent record of 12-5. This year they have struggled with many injuries, one of them being to their star running back Christian Mccaffrey. Their current record sits at 4-4 with them still having some playoff hope as their running back returns to the action soon.
The Detroit Lions have had an amazing past two years but this year they are said to make a leap towards the super bowl. The previous years the Lions have been very uncoordinated and these past two years they have found a lot of talent leading to their success. The Lions currently stand at 6-1 and will make their playoff push with their great teamwork.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a good start to the season with a 6-2 record. Last season their record was 10-7 so they are already off to a better start. Their starting quarterback now is Russel Wilson who is already doing better than Justin Fields who did an amazing job leading them to a 4-1 record. Wilson was not playing until week 6 because of his injured Calf however the last two games he has started he has done an excellent job.
The Kansas Chiefs are off to an expected start leading the league with 7 wins and 0 losses. They have won the super bowl two years in a row and are expected to go for a three peat which will be the first in all of NFL history. The chiefs have lost a lot of their star players to injury but still manage to keep their record.
In the 23-24 season the Arizona Cardinals had a record of 4-13. Recently the Cardinals have had a tough schedule which caused them to have some unfortunate losses. The offense on the Cardinals has had to step up due to the poor performance of the defense. Thunderbird Sophomore Carter Pickerell expressed “Murray doesn’t read the field fully”. The starting quarterback Kyler Murray has been having trouble finding their star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. However, when they find a connection they tend to have great games. One of the most impressive performances from the rookie Marvin Harrison Jr. Included 6 Snags for 111 Yards and 1 touchdown.
