People eating burritos, melted cheese in their mouth, finishing it and feeling desperate for more, wishing it was Wednesday again so they could eat a culinary breakfast encore.
The people who are responsible for serving food on Wednesday morning are culinary students. They come in to prepare at 7:55 and open at 8:30. The food culinary students serve are muffins, fruits, yogurt, breakfast burritos, and biscuits with cinnamon honey butter. They also serve cold brew coffee or blended coffee, but other menu items change each week. These foods are sold at the culinary window on the north side of the quad.
The reason why culinary serves food in the first place is to profit, which they deposit into their club account. That pays for groceries that they use in the classroom throughout the school year. Culinary students also benefit from serving Wednesday morning breakfast by getting a grade for class.
The culinary window is open for only thirty minutes and closes at 9 a.m., so students have a limited time to buy their breakfast. Head on down to the quad on Wednesday mornings and support the culinary program while satisfying your hunger.
Culinary announced today that some menu items will change starting tomorrow, but fan favorites like muffins, parfaits, fruit, and iced coffee will still be available. Please remember that cash is the only accepted payment at the culinary window.
