Thunderbird’s Vocal Ensemble competed at the NAU Jazz Madrigal Festival in Flagstaff this past Saturday. They performed two beautiful Renaissance-era madrigals: “O Bone Jesu” by Palestrina and “Je Ne Suis Moins Aimable” by Pierre Certon.
The ensemble received excellent feedback from their earned Thunderbird’s first Superior rating in several years! This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the students’ hard work, dedication, and musical growth.
