On Monday afternoon, a private jet owned by the lead singer of Mötley Crüe crashed into a bigger plane, leaving one dead and three injured at a Scottsdale airport.
According to Fox News, Vince Neil was not on the band’s plane when it crashed, but pilot Joie Vitosky, a 78-year-old Marine veteran, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred when one of the landing gears on the Learjet 35A failed, causing it to ram into a Gulfstream that was parked. Only Vitosky was killed in the crash, but three others were taken to a nearby hospital and trauma center in critical condition. The airport was closed for the rest of Monday but reopened on Tuesday morning.
