With the Varsity football team putting on a show for their fans, these Titans came out on their season opener in astonishing fashion. With a 36-0 victory over the Moon Valley Rockets, this team looked unstoppable on both ends. From the start of the game all the way to the final buzzer. One player that stood out to everyone was Elijah Little. With a total of 154 rushing yards, That Moon Valley defense was nowhere to be seen as Elijah Littles Shiftiness and footwork got him down the field almost every time. Elijah also had this to say, “ It was like running in an open field, there was rarely anyone in front of me, and the people behind me could just see me getting further and further away.” Elijah Little showcased his athleticism and talent in the season opener and put on a show for everyone to watch. But on the passing and connecting end, Quarterback Andrew Cohill and wideout Will Clark were showing the entire crowd their chemistry. With Cohill having 9 completions and throwing for 116 yards, 4 of those completions and 66 of those yards were to Clark. Clark’s fantastic game resulted in him scoring 2 touchdowns for his team.

Furthermore, the Titan defense was nothing short of amazing. Elijah Hubbard tacked on his first interception of the season. Also, Travis Woods and Ryan Kavalami led the defensive end in tackles with 10 each, and Kavalami recovered a fumble. With this Fantastic defensive performance from these young men and the team, it eventually led to a shutout and kept Moon Valley from getting any points on the board.

Our Titans showed us the potential this season has this year and how strong they are if they play together. Chemistry on both ends of the field was showcased and they showed how much they love to win. The coaching from head coach Nollete and the leadership on the offensive end by Quarterback Andrew Cohill really made this game special. As they push forward, they have their next game against the Prescott Badgers on September 1, 2023, and they’re looking to keep that undefeated record by all means.
