Texas won the 2023 NCAA women’s volleyball championships. This is the second year in a row Texas has won. This year, they played against Nebraska. Going into this game, Texas Volleyball were the underdogs. They had previously lost to Nebraska in a regular season game. Nobody expected Texas to win against Nebraska by that much. 

“O’Neal had a career-high five service aces, including serving match point to win the title.” Last year they won the National championship the exact same way, with an ace.This rarely happens, and is especially rare for a national championship. O’Neal has gone through two open heart surgeries for her heart condition. She has gone through a lot to get to where she is today.

“Texas Volleyball becomes the ninth Longhorn program ever to win back-to-back NCAA Championships.” Texas is a very special program and it takes a lot of work to get there. Texas has an incredible volleyball team and they are very deserving of this win.
