On Tuesday, Feb. 3, Thunderbird Special Olympics competed in the Palo Verde Special Olympics Arizona Basketball Tournament and Skills Competitions — and what a day it was! 
Our tournament team brought home the gold, competing without their unified partners this time and rising to the challenge with determination, teamwork, and heart. We could not be prouder of their effort and success!
Our athletes competing in the skills events — dribbling, shooting, and passing — also performed incredibly well, earning medals and showcasing the hard work they’ve put in all season. Every drill and every practice in Adaptive PE truly paid off!
