Thunderbird dance beautiful recital recap

Thunderbird+dance+beautiful+recital+recap

Thunderbird Dance just finished their annual dance recital with three days of beautiful dancing showcasing their incredible creativity. From first-period Advanced Dance to Beginner classes, each level danced their hearts out every performance. Additionally, emotions ran high for some seniors, as this was their last time dancing with classmates and under dance instructor Mrs. Condor.

Senior Medine Yslyasowa had a trio dance with her two favorite juniors, Annie Wingert and Isabella Courter, as a send-off from a high school dance, showcasing the emotions of moving on to bigger things. With a beautiful dance choreographed by all three, Medine had this to say about her dance. “I love these girls so much, and dancing with them for the last time was a feeling I will never forget. Everything ends and I wanted our dance to showcase that and hit the audience’s hearts.” A beautiful dance performed to perfection by these young women made for an unforgettable experience for all three of them.

Senior Brayden King had his send-off duet with Junior Psillas. It is an emotional duet with beautiful choreography showcasing how difficult and lovely love can be simultaneously. This was Brayden’s final dance with Junior, and it was beyond breathtaking for the audience to watch.

Creativity was shown on a different level when Perco dancers Abby and Carter Howell did a fantastic job choreographing a celebrity dance. Carter Howell sang and rapped as artist Jack Harlow, Ava Marie as Justin Bieber, Ania White as Rihanna, Dniyah as Cardi B, KiKi Hooper as Bruno Mars, and Sariah as Drake. Each artist had their little concert with full crews in the background as backup dancers.

The annual dance show was a success from start to finish. The heartfelt goodbye to seniors added an emotional punch beyond the dance company’s typical excellence, and the whole program should take pride in a fantastic final show of the year.
