It’s been 315 days since “Red Moon in Venus,” by Kali Uchis was released. And now, “ORQUIDEAS,” her new album, is taking the spotlight.

“ORQUIDEAS,” is an appealing mixture of songs from  different genres of R&B, Pop, and Latin impact. This album showcases her phenomenal vocals, unique style of music writing, and each song telling its own story.

Like her second most recent album, “Red Moon in Venus,” this album is about expressing femininity, and her heritage. This album also has featured artists like Karol G and Peso Pluma.

The top song of the album is “Te Mata,” which is about escaping a toxic relationship that has prominent neglect, and soon finding the self-worth to move on. “Igual Que Un Angel,” featuring Peso Pluma, is about exploring love, vulnerability, and the feeling of being loved by someone special. “Labios Mordidos,” featuring Karol G, is a song about passion, and intense desire between two people.

This album is on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and YouTube.
